The idea of free code lab was to give an opportunity to more kids to learn basic programming skills.
The one-day event was hosted in Yaba, Lagos at The Nest Hub with over a hundred kids in attendance.
We had so much fun learning, designing and creating web pages. We took a deep dive into HTML and CSS. learning about HTML tags, elements, lists, and linking your HTML and CSS files together.
At the end of this code lab, the kids were able to create their own web page that displays a list of their favorite meals.
This was a fun experience for them. We are looking forward to the next free code lab.
